Any garage roof that is part of the same property can have the solar panels mounted their instead of the home or in addition to the home. If it is an attached garage then most definitely and very easily. The only limiting factors with a detached garage is the ability to run an underground conduit with wires to carry the electricity your new photovoltaic system makes, back to your electric meter or main circuit breaker panel. In fact we can mount PV solar panels on a home’s roof, a garage, a barn, out buildings of any type, a trellis, patio cover, and even the open field. We just need to dig a trench 36” deep and run wires in the trench.
