William F. Hayden Park on Green Mountain 

Covering over 2,400 acres, the William F. Hayden Park on Green Mountain is Lakewood’s second-largest park.  People looking for a challenging hike should make time in their schedule to hike at this park.  The Green Mountain Trail leads you up to the summit of Green Mountain, which stands at 6,800 feet above sea level.

This one is for horse lovers.  In addition to a beautiful lake and spectacular views of the mountains, Addenbrooke Park also has a horse arena and trails open to horses.
