One of the most notable sites in Denver, Larimer Square, is located in the downtown area of Denver. Over time it has served several purposes such as a town square and commercial center but has recently been revitalized as a trendy shopping area. Colorado State Capitol

Easy to spot because of its gold bell-shaped dome, the Colorado State Capitol is the home of the Colorado General Assembly and the offices of the Governor of Colorado and Lieutenant Governor of Colorado. It is one of the major landmarks in the city and unlike other state capitols, there are free tours available for guests. 

It would almost be a crime to visit Denver and not stop by one of these places.
